Advanced Website Intake Forms let you place a Sensra-powered form directly on your own website. When a visitor submits the form, a draft project is automatically created in your workspace — no manual data entry needed.
Who can use advanced intake forms?
Advanced Website Intake Forms are available on the Studio plan. Free and Pro workspaces can use project intake links (sent per-client), but cannot embed forms on an external website.
Creating a form
- Go to Intake Forms from the sidebar.
- Select New form and give it a name that describes the kind of project it captures (for example, "Website project inquiry" or "Brand design request").
- Choose the business type and intake fields to include. Match these to the questions you typically ask new clients.
- Save the form.
Embedding the form on your website
- Open the form from the Intake Forms list.
- Select Embed code.
- Copy the iframe snippet and paste it into your website's HTML wherever you want the form to appear.
The embed is a standard HTML iframe — it works in any website builder, CMS, or hand-coded page that supports custom HTML.
Domain allowlist
To prevent your form from being embedded on unauthorized domains, add the domains where the form is allowed to appear. Submissions from unlisted domains are blocked. You can add or remove domains from the form settings at any time.
What happens when someone submits
Each submission creates a new draft project in your workspace with the submitted details pre-filled as intake notes. You can then review the intake, request more context, or move straight to generating a project brief and proposal.
Managing submissions
Submitted projects appear in your workspace's Submissions area. From there you can accept the intake into a full project, or dismiss it if the inquiry is not a fit.
Form language
The form uses the language setting configured on each individual form. This lets you create one English form and one French form, for example, and embed each on the appropriate page of your site.
