A project in Sensra represents a single client engagement — one scoped piece of work from intake to delivery. This article covers how to organize and manage projects through their lifecycle.
Project lifecycle
- Intake: Collect requirements via intake form or internal notes.
- Proposal: Generate and review a proposal and scope document.
- Share: Send a client proposal link for acceptance.
- Tasks: Generate and manage the task board from the approved scope.
- Close: Archive the project when the engagement is complete.
Active vs. archived projects
Active projects count toward your plan limit. When an engagement is complete, archive the project to keep the history available without occupying an active slot. You can unarchive a project at any time if a client returns with follow-on work.
Project names
Use descriptive project names that include the type of engagement and a rough date — for example "Brand strategy Q1 2026" or "E-commerce platform build." This makes it easy to find the right project when a client refers back to previous work.
Multiple projects per client
A client can have multiple projects. Keep each distinct engagement as its own project rather than trying to cram two separate scopes into one — it keeps the intake, proposals, and task boards clean and traceable.
