Approvals

How the approval step controls the handoff from draft to project.

Team & workspace1 min read

Approvals are the controlled handoff point in Sensra. They prevent raw AI drafts from flowing directly into client deliverables or project tasks without a human review step.

What requires approval?

Proposal documents and scope of work documents must be approved before:

  • A client-facing proposal link can be created.
  • A task board can be generated from the scope.

This is intentional — approval is the signal that the document accurately represents the engagement you intend to deliver.

Who can approve?

Any workspace member can approve a document. On single-seat plans (Free, Pro), that is the workspace owner by default. Studio plans with multiple seats allow any seat holder to review and approve.

Approval is not irreversible

You can re-open an approved document and make edits. If the changes are significant enough to affect the scope, consider creating a new proposal version and revoking the client link before re-sharing. The task board should be updated manually to reflect any scope changes made after tasks have been generated.

Approvals and accountability

The approval record shows who approved a document and when. This gives your team a clear record of the internal sign-off, separate from any client acceptance recorded through the proposal link.
